Entry Info:

The entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries when necessary.  Fees must accompany entries and no fees will be refunded for failure to bench. The club reserves the right to change judges not named if an emergency arises. Only cats and kittens over 4 months of age and entered in the show are allowed in the showhall.  Cats and kittens may not be left unattended in parked vehicles or stored in carriers under the benching area tables.

Show Hours:

Advertised show hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  Check-in is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.  Judging will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The kitchen will be open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks.

Showhall:

The showhall is the Adams County Fairgrounds’ Exhibition Hall, 9755 Henderson Road, Brighton, CO. Directions to the showhall will be sent with your confirmation. You may also view directions to the show hall by visiting our Maps & Directions page. The showhall is heated and air-conditioned as needed and is handicapped accessible. Smoking is not allowed in the showhall.You may view the show hall floor plan by visiting our Floor Plan page. We will be serving breakfast and lunch, visit our Kitty Kafe page to see the menu for our selection of people food.

Show Hotel & Ground Transportation:

The show hotel is the La Quinta, (303) 371-0888, (800) 753-3757, 6801 Tower Road, Denver. The La Quinta will provide FREE shuttle service to and from DIA. The show rate for the La Quinta is $82 (plus 14.92% tax) for a king bed or double bed suite including complimentary breakfast. FastTracks will provide FREE transportation for our fly-in guests between the show hall and the La Quinta show hotel and airport return. The shuttle leaves the La Quinta at 7:30 am each morning and picks up at the show hall at 5:30 pm each evening. Please feel free to tip the driver if you appreciate the service, FRCF will not collect a transportation fee.

Alternate Show Hotel Embassy Suites (No show hall transportation) : For those exhibitors who can provide their own transportation to and from the show hall, you may choose to stay at the Embassy Suites Denver - Aurora, 4444 North Havana Street, Denver, Colorado 80239-2937. (303) 375-0400 or (800) 362-2779. The Embassy Suites will provide free shuttle service to and from DIA. FRCF will NOT provide exhibitor transportation between the Embassy Suites and the show hall. The show rate for the Embassy Suites is $92 (plus $25 refundable pet deposit) for a King Suite including complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast. Ask for the Front Range Cat Fanciers block which will be held until 2/5/2010.

Supplies:

Litter will be provided by Precious Cat Litter.  Bring your own litter pans, cat food and water dishes. A deluxe single cage is provided with each entry. The deluxe single cage is 21 x 21 x 28 and the double cage size is 21 x 21 x 56. Bring cage curtains, towels or sheets to hang on the inside, top and bottom of cage. Exhibitors using their own security cage must purchase a double cage space.

CFA Show Rules:

This is a CFA licensed show and CFA show rules will be strictly enforced.  Show rules may be obtained by sending $5.00 to: CFA, P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ  08736-1005. This is a non-vetted show. All entries should be vaccinated against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitits, calici virus and tested for FeLV before entry. Cats must be free of fleas, ear mites, fungus and any contagious illness. The show management reserves the right to remove any cat or kitten suspected of having any of the above until examined by a veterinarian at the owner’s or agent’s expense. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry, including HHPs.

Ribbons:

Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded according to CFA rules. Permanent flats will be used and fabric ribbons will be available. All championship and premiership cats and kittens with registration numbers will be scored for CFA Regional and National awards.

All donations of cash, cat food, litter and supplies are gratefully accepted on behalf of Rocky Mountain Alley Cat Alliance. You may also donate an item to our raffle to help fund spay/neuter surgeries. All donations are tax deductible.
